SFC Columbus Jackson "Jack" Feemster, Retired age 70, of Greenwood Ave., Boaz, Alabama, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Fason officiating. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Feemster was born on March 15, 1941 to the John Jackson & Nettie Harris Feemster. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving more than 29 years.
Mr. Feemster is survived by his: Wife: Gloria Craig Feemster of Boaz, , Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Jackie W. & Myra Feemster of Arab, Jason & Carla Feemster of Huntsville, Marcus T. & Barbra Craig of Huntsville and Christopher "Shane" & Melissa Craig of Albertville, Daughter: Angela J. Craig of Georgia, 11 Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter, Brothers: Johnny Feemster of Boaz and David Feemster of Union Grove, Sisters: Williouse Welchell of North Carolina, Louise Dabbs of Guntersville, Dorothy Kirkland of Arab, Elizabeth Arbough of Arab, Jeanette Morrow of Union Grove, Sarah Wagaman of Georgia and Jenny Tyler of Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Alacare Hospice.
