Carol Jean Birdsong

Mrs. Carol Jean Birdsong, age 73, of Huntsville, Alabama, died on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in Boaz. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 2 o’clock pm in the McRae Chapel with Bro. David Johnson and Bro. Ken Kelley officiating with eulogy by Mary Ann Kelley. Interment will follow in Bethsaida Cemetery. A visitation will be on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from noon until service time at the funeral home.

 Mrs. Birdsong was born in Ft. Payne, Alabama on June 30, 1951, to Richard Van & Lois Eloise Ashley Dobbs. She was a homemaker. 

Mrs. Birdsong is survived by her Husband: Randall Birdsong of Huntsville, Sons: Conner Birdsong (Karla) of Huntsville and Wesley Birdsong (Holly) of Indiana, Grandchildren: Tait Birdsong, Asher Birdsong and Danna Birdsong, Brother: Van Dobbs (Janet) of Arab, Sister-in-Law: Connie Birdsong of Boaz. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Richard & Eloise Dobbs, and Parents-in-Law: J. C. & Melba Birdsong. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Conner Birdsong, Wesley Birdsong, Clancy Helms, Jose Lopez, Ken Kelley, and Rex Ellis. The honorary pallbearer will be Asher Birdsong.

 In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Bethsaida Cemetery Fund, 2539 Bethsaida Road, Boaz, AL 35957.
