Carlee "Shorty" Boland

Mr. Carlee “Shorty” Boland, age 91, of Boaz, Alabama, died on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Albertville Health and Rehab. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 2 o’clock pm in the McRae Chapel with Bro. Andy Sims and Bro. Michael Brand officiating. Interment will follow in Nixon Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will be on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from noon until service time at the funeral home.

 Mr. Boland was born in Alabama on December 1, 1932, to Homer Clyde and Kathleen Galloway Boland. He was a retired school custodian.

 Mr. Boland is survived by his Sons: Kenny & Cindy Boland of Boaz and Roger Boland of Tennessee, Daughters: Melissa & Rodney Knight of Albertville and Angie & James Reeves of Boaz, 12 Grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Homer & Kathleen Boland, Wife: Willie Ruth Boland, Daughter: Polly Boland Stallings, Son: Benny Boland, Grandson: Major Boland, Granddaughter: Christie Boland, Brothers: Robert Boland, Joe Ed Boland, and Willie D. Boland, Sister: Bernice Peppers.

 Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Boland, Cory Reeves, Braxton Reeves, Donnie Peppers, Chris Hughes, and Robert Junior Boland. Honorary Pallbearer will be Conner Alford
