Carl Jerry Jones

Mr. Carl Jerry Jones, age 72, of Boaz, Alabama, died on Friday, August 30, 2024, at his residence.

 A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 3 o’clock pm in the McRae Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Estes, Bro. Shane Stephens, and Bro. Darrell Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. A visitation will be on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from one o’clock pm until service time at the funeral home.

 Mr. Jones was born in Alabama on June 25, 1952, to Tamer and Vadie Hancock Jones. He was a small engine mechanic. 

 Mr. Jones is survived by his Wife: Cynthia Jones of Boaz, Son: Darrell Jones (Brandi) of Albertville, Daughter: Teresa Abercrombie (Michael) of Boaz, Grandchildren: Austin (Owie) Abercrombie, Tyler Jones, Nicole

Abercrombie, Grant Jones and Grace Abercrombie, Great Granddaughter: Noah Abercrombie, Sisters: Willene Bannister and Emma Garner. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Tamar and Vadie Jones, 8 Brothers and 4 Sisters.

 Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Jones, James Jones, Randall Jones, Bruce Jones, Larry Gunter, Tyler Jones, Grant Jones, and Austin Abercrombie.
