Mr. Bonnard Elijah Lester, 89, of Christi Lane, Boaz, Alabama, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at his residence.
Service will be Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, two o'clock p.m. at McRae Chapel. Bro. Roger Watkins, Bro. Mike Springfield and Bro. Shannon Pullen will be officiating. Interment will follow in Bethsaida Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-7 at the funeral home.
Mr. Lester was born April 2, 1926 to Dewey & Lola Smith Lester. He was retired from the civil service. Mr. Lester is survived by his Wife of 66 years: Kathryn Lester of Boaz, Son & Daughter-in-Law: Terry & Debra Lester of Crossville, Daughters & Son-in-Law: Kathy Moore of Boaz and Agatha & Michael Crow of Montgomery, 8 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren, Sisters & Brothers-in-Law: Mary & Donald Brothers, Anita & Monk Langley and Francelle Ingram all of Boaz, Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Dewey & Lola Lester.
Pallbearers will be Mike Crow, Anthony Moore, Jody Lester, Heath Moore, Colby Moore and Hayden Moore. Honorary Pallbearers will be J. C. Birdsong, Jeffrey Freeman and Maddox Beck.
