Billy F. Smith

Mr. Billy F. Smith, age 75 of County Road 37, Crossville, died on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Marshall Medical Center South.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Providence The Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Rickie Williams and Bro. Tim Harper officiating. Interment will follow in the Adjoining Cemetery. Mr. Smith will Lie-in-State at the church from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. Visitation will be Monday October 31, 2022, from five until eight at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith was born in Ft. Payne, Alabama on October 21, 1947, to Raymond & Leevay Loyd Smith. He was a poultry farmer.

Mr. Smith is survived by his Wife: Janice Plunkett Smith of Crossville, Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Frankie & David Kelley of Winterboro, Genevieve & Chris Pointer of Boaz and Joy & Anthony Potter of Crossville, Grandchildren: Jade & Daniel Holderfield, Katelyn Drain, Ganon Pointer and Carson Pointer, Great Grandchildren: Brantley Holderfield and Baylee Holderfield, Brothers: Raymond & Terrie Smith of Boaz, George & Rita Smith of Alexandria, and Charles Terry & Kim Smith of Albertville and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Raymond & Leevay Smith.

The pallbearers will be David Smith, Jonathan Smith, Ray Gaines, Shayne Smith, Brent Smith, and Blake Horton. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men of Providence The Hill Missionary Baptist Church and the Sand Mountain Gideons.
