Mr. Anthony “Tony” Rollins, age 67 of Martin Avenue, Boaz, died on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.

 

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, July 22, 2022, at McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Lackey and Bro. Robert Terrell officiating. Interment will follow at 3 pm in Hartselle Memory Gardens, Hartselle. Visitation will be from Eleven until service time at the funeral home.

 

Mr. Rollins was born in Hartselle, Alabama on August 30, 1954, to Don & Betty Pettey Rollins. He was employed with Pulmonary Care Services and formerly the director of Respiratory Department at Marshall Medical Center South. He was also a proud volunteer with the Boaz Fire Department for

40 years.

 

Mr. Rollins is survived by his Daughters: Maegan Garmany of Boaz, Melissa (Billy) Mathieu of Wetumpka and Elizabeth (Stephen) Britt of Union Grove, Son: Joshua Wayne Rollins of Boaz, Grandchildren: Sophie Garmany, Kam Mathieu, Carter Britt and Campbell Britt, Sister: Terri (Mike) Pugh of Moulton and two nephews and families. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Don & Betty Rollins and Brothers: Mike Rollins and Larry Rollins.

 

Pallbearers will be the Boaz Fire Department, Family and Friends.

 

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice or to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation designated to Canines for Coping or the Music Therapy Fund.
